My working definition of Hope...
Hope is defined
as the feeling of expectation and the dream for something to happen. My name
has inspired a life long creative search for joy, beauty, adventure, color,
community, and connection. A passport, a camera, and people are my favorite
tools for uncovering untold stories and collecting moments of existence worthy
of being documented. My photographs strive to visually narrate moments of
spontaneity and the fullness of life. Nature, sunlight, friends, family, and
strangers are my willing subjects.
I believe God
has created me to create. Light is an important component of exposure in
photography and is a reoccurring theme in my work. My faith compels me to shine
light on darkness and guide my generation’s feet in the path of peace. Through photography,
short films, and printmaking I aim to visually represent spirituality and the
inexplicable.
I aspire to grow
in my understanding of God, eternity, and my identity by wandering the world
with a camera in my hands and hope in my heart. My creative journey is full of
adventure as I travel through life. The destination is not determined, but the
journey and hope found along the way is documented.
Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.

“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls."
