Exactly one year ago, our paths crossed in Paris.

This year we create in new countries and contexts. The Pavé D'Orsay collective exhibition, "HOME IS _______" featured six female artists exploring the themes of identity and home. What is home? How do we shape who we are based on our environment? Elvire, Hope, Kimia, Marissa, Rebecca, and Wen Li re-address these questions through photography, poetry, essays, paintings, and other mediums, but this year in a whole new way. They represent France, the United States, Iran, and China, looking for answers to the universal need for belonging.

As our world spins and borders remain closed we've decided to continue to create and collaborate through our art.

A virtual anniversary exhibition, "A year later, Home Is_____", takes place in the gallery and comfort of your own home. No longer in Paris perhaps or the walls of a gallery but here at home, making meaning of it all.
