hopefolio: holy chaos
WELCOME TO HOPEFOLIO!!
today is a big day. it’s a Tuesday night in Paris. Midnight in Paris. They make films about this in Hollywood. I wanted to share words with you and make everything pretty and perfect about the reason why I’ve re-done my website, my vision and intention and have a shop full of treasures for you. But instead, I wrote a poem on a type-writer while watering my friend’s plants, spilled water on it and folded it in my bag today and thought it was more authentic and appropriate than pretending to have it all together. I did climb the Eiffel tour today however with a dear friend: empty of tourists and a perfect September day. I was running late for a pique-nique because I baked my mother’s chocolate chip cookies… but brought them warm and enjoyed the communion of friends and french butter in Parc Montsouris. I’m preparing to move across the world next week to California and I don’t have many words to express the joy and sadness, excitement and unknowns all mixed into this season for me. All I know is we must hold fast to the hope we have and keep seeking light. So welcome… to the holy chaos of my life and universe. I can’t wait to share stories.
